hello! my final decision was between usc and an east coast school. the other school is well-respected with a gorgeous albeit isolated campus, a great public policy program and nyc/dc nearby which is a plus in my field. i chose usc because:
1) students there are outgoing and enthusiastic, and the campus is so vibrant! i love how proud everyone is to be a trojan, and there is abundant happy energy. plus it has one of the most diverse student bodies in the country.
2) the campus is closed off and centralized, but we’re also in the middle of downtown la so i think it’s the best of both worlds. as long as i don’t get shot LOL jk…kinda.
3) i was fortunate enough to get a good amount of money from them! the last thing i wanted to do was burden my parents or my future self so this was a relief for me.
4) they are flexible with multiple majors whereas at the other school, it’s impossible to double major unless you are a genius which i am not. i’ll be pursuing a dual degree in business administration and policy, planning & development.
5) i really like their thematic options program (http://dornsife.usc.edu/thematic-option/).
6) usc has a lot of $$$$$$$ (i guess i should thank the “spoiled children”) which is reflected in the seemingly endless opportunities for students.
7) last but not least, i have never seen so many fine male specimens in my LIFE!!!!! WHOOOO!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED FOR COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#)(*!@()#*!@()$_9@*()%*)@$*%)@#()A()^*#$&%
okay but seriously, if you are an underclassman APPLY TO USC. it is the greatest school on the planet..or so i’ve been brainwashed to say ;)
what’s wrong with me..
so today when i woke up the strangest thing happened to me. if you guys didn’t know i have this problem where i get extreme dizziness/nausea, usually in the morning (no i’m not preggos). anyway when i stepped out of my bed i started stumbling towards the front-right direction. somehow or another i had lost my sense of balance and couldn’t stand up straight, and i KEPT falling toward that one direction..i kind of felt like one of those drunk people in the streets in korean dramas LOL but wow it was the weirdest sensation. even when i was in bed i had the feeling like i was falling in that same direction again @_@ i’m going to the neurologist on wednesday but i actually felt sad about missing school (?!). i guess now that our days are limited, i look forward to chatting & messing around with classmates/teachers.
